Ubuntu Server 10.04 - Symantec Backup Exec 2010 R3 - Virtual Tape

I need a solution

Hi  all !

This is my scenario in a ESX Environment

-Symantec Backup EXEC 2010 R3 on Windows Server 2003 R2 64 bit;

-Ubuntu Server 10.04.4 x64

-Remote Agent Version  using extracting this fie : RALUS_RMALS_RAMS-5204.4.tar.gz ( Provided in Sym BACKUP EXEC 2010 R2  CD )

-Ubuntu Installation : OK

-Manual library installation for remote agent : libstdc++5_3.3.6-20_amd64.deb OK

-Remote Agent Installation : OK

-I can start and stop the remote agent on Ubuntu without any problem.

-I Can manage my ubunt server from my media server adding it  in USER DEFINED SELECTION

-I've created a user "bckuser" with password "bckuser" that is member of  beoper group in UBUNTU SERVER

-I've created a user "bckuser" on my media server (192.168.7.3) in NETWORK LOGON ACCOUNTS.

-I click on DEVICE --Add remote media agent storage .

-I specify the ubuntu server address 192.168.7.5

-I select the user created before ( bckuser)

 

and I'M NOT ABLE to CONNECT  !!!

"Unable to authenticate with the NDMP Server, or with the remote computer.... "

 

-It's not a Network problem .. I can ping my ubuntu server (192.168.7.5) , and i can ping my media server form ubuntu server.

-I can estabilish a telnet session on port 1000 from my media server to ubuntu server...

What is wrong ??
