I'm getting this error sometimes:

Description VSS Snapshot error. A Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) snapshot is already running on the target computer.

I know the solution to this error - restart the Symantec SymSnap VSS Provider and the Volume Shadow Copy services.

I also know it happnas because i got both backup exec and symantec system recovery on the same system.

My only question is - besdie the snapshot problem, does the files backuped corrcetly even that i got this error?

Will i be able to restore those backup files without a problem?

It happans on two systems - one is running BE 2010 R3 SP1 and the other is BE 2012 SP1. both are running Windows Server 2008 R2 and the backup destination is tape (MSL 4048 library)
