I need a solution
Backup scenario:
Full backups to disk weekly - dupe to tape (media set keep indefinitely)
Incremental backups to disk daily - also dupe to tape (media set 25 weeks)
Disk backups are kept beyond their retention period. When I go to delete them manually, they list the tape incremental duplicates as depencies and want me to remove them from the catalog.
Why is DLM worried about my tapes?
