I need a solution
I am having an issue where I cannot inventory tapes in Backup Exec. When I put the tape in the tape drive when from within Backup Exec when I select the tape drive and right click and select Inventory nothing happens.
I have seen where a message in the job status under job monitor to say that "Communication Stalled" The only way to get around this issue is to restart the Backup Exec services. When this happens the tape will appear.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to a fix to this issue.
