The install failed with an unexpected error

I'm trying to repair BE 2010 x64 and I'm getting the following error after it checks the install files:

The install failed with an unexpected error: The type serialized in the .resources file was not the same type that the .resources file said it contained.  Expected 'System.Windows.Forms.ListViewItem' but read 'System.Windows.Forms.ListViewItem+ListViewSubItem'.

I've tried multiple media sources (network, local hdd, dvdrom) and all of them give the same error.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!
