I do not need a solution (just sharing information)
Been using BackupExec 2012 for around 6 months now and I have to say on the whole I am hugely disappointed. I have encountered so many bugs and issues with the software I daren't count them. Some have been resolved but many remain acknowledged by Symantec with no sign of a fix.
I really wish I had not purchased this version and had stuck to my previous backup solution (I have actually reverted back in one case).
Just wondered how many others out there feel as annoyed and disappointed with 2012 as I do. Wish I could get a refund!
