Backup Exec 2010 R3 SP3 not recognizing RD1000 as a drive

Backup Exec 2010 R3 was uninstalled. I reinstalled backup exec 2010 r3. I setup a backup to disk folder on the RD1000 drive. I did a test run of the backup and the byte count was 290 GB. When running the backup it was stuck over 300GB  asking us to insert another disk. We only used one 320GB disk each time before the uninstall. What should I look at? Should the rd1000 be showing up under devices on my server or am I really backing up more than 290GB when the test run only says 290 GB? Any help is greatly appreciated. Let me know if anyone needs to know any other info. Thanks
