Backup Exec 12 TCP Port Conflicts

I am seeking a method to modify some of the ports used by Backup Exec uses for communications.  I've had no luck with the BE howto articles.

The beserver.exe and bengine.exe are interfering with our time clock(scanserver) application.

Please see the attached picture for the ports in use.  I'd like to prevent BE from using ports 1078 - 1085.
